Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a RAD Tech, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures crucial for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct imaging procedures to obtain diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
  • Adhere to safety protocols to optimize patient and staff protection from radiation.
  • Review images to confirm they meet the required diagnostic standards.
  • Assist in training junior staff and interns on imaging protocols and procedures.
  • Document all imaging procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in departmental meetings to contribute to service improvement.
  • Engage in continuing education opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • A recognised diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Radiographer
Experience
  • Prior experience working as a Radiologic Technician in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
