We are seeking an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will support healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include assisting with therapeutic activities, maintaining patient records, and fostering a welcoming environment for patients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of dental issues.
• Perform extractions, root canals, and other dental procedures.
• Promote a proactive approach to patient dental hygiene.
• Engage in continuing education to refine dentistry skills.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and equipment.
• Support patients in understanding the treatment process and aftercare.
• Track patient progress and make modifications to treatment as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dentistry
• Postgraduate qualifications in dentistry are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a dental practice

• Oral Surgery
• Cosmetic Dentistry

Certifications

• GDC Certification
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent
