As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will perform echocardiograms and assist in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. Responsibilities

• Conduct echocardiographic examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure the proper functioning of ultrasound equipment and troubleshoot when necessary.
• Evaluate patient information and medical history for proper testing procedure.
• Work alongside cardiologists to interpret results and provide thorough reports.
• Guarantee patient privacy, comfort, and safety during examinations.
• Regularly update knowledge of cardiac imaging techniques and standards.
• Participate in continuing education programs for professional development.
• Mentor and train junior staff on echocardiographic protocols and techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Echocardiography or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical echocardiography role required.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Cardiac Anatomy
• ECG Interpretation

• Attention to Detail
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
