Job Description

As a Mail Carrier Technician, you will play a vital role in managing mail delivery. Your responsibilities will include sorting incoming mail, loading delivery vehicles, and ensuring that all packages are delivered promptly and accurately, providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming mail efficiently to prepare for delivery runs.
  • Ensure timely collection and delivery of mail and parcels within designated areas.
  • Follow safety and environmental regulations strictly during operations.
  • Record and report delivery issues to the logistics manager as necessary.
  • Handle customer interactions positively and professionally.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized work environment at the depot.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss route efficiencies and improvements.
  • Guide and mentor new staff on best practices in delivery and customer service.
  • Stay informed on postal regulations and updates to ensure compliance.
  • Manage delivery schedules effectively to prioritize urgent mail.

Requirements
