Job Description

As a Tool Maintenance Worker, you'll play a critical role in maintaining and repairing a variety of tools and equipment. You will ensure they remain functional and safe for use, which is vital in any manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tools for damage and ensure they meet safety standards.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on power tools.
• Assist in training staff on proper tool usage.
• Keep detailed logs of repairs and maintenance schedules.
• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure tools are operational.
• Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes.
• Maintain inventory levels of spare parts.
• Engage in continuous learning about new tools and technology.
• Support the team in resolving urgent repair issues swiftly.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Further qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in tool maintenance or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals

Languages
