Job Description

As a Healthcare Risk Manager, you'll oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks within our healthcare organisation. You're expected to implement and develop risk management strategies while fostering a culture of safety across the board.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular risk assessments and prepare relevant reports.
  • Advise on risk management matters to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate risk management into daily operations.
  • Assess the impact of changes in policies and healthcare regulations on risk exposure.
  • Facilitate incident review committees and follow up on action items.
  • Maintain records and documentation of risk management activities.
  • Develop and deliver training to enhance staff awareness of risk issues.
  • Utilize data to identify trends and areas of concern related to patient safety.
  • Implement best practices in patient safety and risk management.
  • Prepare for and respond to regulatory audits and inspections.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 7+ years in risk management with a focus on healthcare
