Biostatistician

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Biostatistician to join our expanding team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing statistical analysis plans, conducting rigorous analyses, and interpreting complex data to support our medical research projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of statistical methodologies in research.
• Perform data management and analysis utilizing SAS or R.
• Review and validate statistical outputs for accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to advance research initiatives.
• Assist in training junior statisticians and interns.
• Prepare reports and presentations summarizing statistical findings.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in biostatistics or epidemiology
