Job Description

As a Medical Record Librarians Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective education to students pursuing a career in medical record librarianship. You'll ensure students are well-equipped with practical skills and theoretical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning activities tailored to diverse student needs.
• Create and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods and technology.
• Monitor academic progress and assist students in achieving their goals.
• Contribute to departmental meetings and initiatives.
• Participate in outreach activities to promote the program.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Record Librarianship or related field
• Postgraduate degree in Education, Teaching, or related field

Experience

• Experience teaching and facilitating learning activities in a higher education setting

Technical Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with online teaching platforms

Soft Skills

• Strong presentation skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Certifications

• Teaching Qualification (QTS or equivalent preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with accreditation processes and standards: Understanding of accreditation requirements relevant to educational institutions.
• Experience with grants and funding applications: Ability to develop successful proposals for funding educational initiatives.
