Job Description

As a Health Education Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering educational programmes designed to enhance patient understanding of health conditions and treatment options. Your compassionate approach will ensure that every patient feels supported and informed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients in navigating the healthcare system effectively.
  • Evaluate educational needs and preferences of patients and families.
  • Document patient interactions and educational outcomes in accordance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess patient educational needs.
  • Organize and lead health education activities and health fairs.
  • Conduct follow-up evaluations to measure patient understanding and retention.
  • Provide feedback to management on patient progress and educational program effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of related experience in health education
