Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Milling and Planing Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you'll set up and operate precision milling machinery, ensuring top quality in our production processes. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong background in machining operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate milling and planing machines to produce components as per specifications.
• Inspect parts throughout the production process for quality assurance.
• Adjust machine settings based on inspection results.
• Document production outputs and any defects.
• Assist in training new operators and apprentices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in machining or related field is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in milling or machining operations.

• CNC Machining
• Tool Maintenance

Certifications

• CNC Programming Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
