Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fish Salter to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to salt and cure various types of fish to enhance their flavor and prolong their shelf life. You'll be part of a dedicated production team focused on maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting fish and seafood products for quality and freshness.
  • Seasoning fish with appropriate salt levels based on product requirements.
  • Ensuring consistent and accurate salting of fish products.
  • Collaborating with the production team to achieve production targets.
  • Following health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the salting area.
  • Monitoring and adjusting salting processes to meet quality standards.
  • Keeping accurate records of salt usage and product specifications.
  • Assisting in other fish processing tasks as required.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in food hygiene and safety is a plus.
Experience
  • Experience in operating fish processing machinery is preferred.
