Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing venipuncture, preparing samples for analysis, and maintaining patient records. A strong focus on patient care and experience in blood collection is required.

Responsibilities

• Collect blood samples from patients while maintaining high standards of care.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all specimens.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care improvements.
• Follow updates in phlebotomy protocols and safety guidelines.
• Support administrative tasks related to patient management.
• Manage patient appointments for blood collection efficiently.
• Engage in continuing education to stay updated with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited program

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a phlebotomy role is preferred
