Tarring Machine Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Tarring Machine Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used for laying and compacting asphalt on roads and other surfaces. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of materials and equipment used in road construction.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate tarring equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Monitor the quality of materials used and adjust machinery settings accordingly.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to complete road construction projects on schedule.
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep on the machinery.
• Document work done and materials used for project tracking.

Requirements

Education

• No specific educational qualifications required, but experience is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience operating tarring machines or similar equipment.

Languages

Advantageous
