Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to manage and maintain our heavy machinery on-site. You will be responsible for executing tasks such as grading, lifting, and moving materials in an efficient manner while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Effectively operate and manage heavy machinery on various construction sites.
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintenance of equipment.
• Execute tasks efficiently, ensuring high-quality work standards.
• Communicate effectively with site managers and team members.
• Help in project planning by advising on equipment capabilities.
• Participate in safety training and adherence to health regulations.
• Monitor materials on-site to ensure an adequate supply.
• Document daily operations and any incidents that occur.
• Assist in coordinating logistics for machinery transportation.
• Work collaboratively to enhance overall site efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional certifications in specific machinery operation preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment operation.

Technical Skills

• GPS Technology Usage
• Blueprint Interpretation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• CPCS Card or equivalent

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift certification: Certification in operating forklifts is a plus.
