Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be at the heart of our operations in Manchester, managing the logistics process from planning to execution. We're looking for individuals who can ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods while maintaining our high standards of quality. You will collaborate with various teams to optimise our supply chain and improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee logistics staff and coordinate their activities effectively.
  • Implement new technologies to enhance logistics tracking and reporting.
  • Evaluate and optimise transportation routes for efficiency and cost savings.
  • Assist in budgeting for logistics operations and tracking expenses.
  • Prepare reports on logistics performance against company targets.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory tracking and resolve discrepancies.
  • Act as a point of contact for external partners in the logistics process.
  • Identify challenges in the logistics process and drive resolutions.
  • Facilitate cross-departmental communication to streamline logistics operations.
  • Monitor changing regulations affecting logistics and adjust processes accordingly.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • MBA is advantageous
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles
