Job Description

As a Motel Front Desk Attendant, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met. You will manage check-ins and check-outs, handle guest inquiries, and perform administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist them throughout their stay.
  • Ensure the front desk operations run smoothly under pressure.
  • Provide thorough knowledge of the motel's services and local attractions.
  • Support admin tasks like maintaining guest records and reports.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are adhered to at the front desk.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Additional education in Hospitality or related field preferred
Experience
  • Experience working with Hotel Management Software and POS Systems preferred.
Technical Skills
  • Point of Sale (POS) Systems
Soft Skills
  • Strong Verbal and Written Communication
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in a similar front desk role: Prior experience working in hotels, hostels, or other accommodation services.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve conflicts and complaints with skill and patience.
