Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lathe and Turning Machine Tool Setter, Operator and Tender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up and operating lathes, ensuring the production of high-quality components.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lathe operation process from setup to quality inspection.
• Work with precision measurement tools to check the dimensions of machined components.
• Maintain tools and machinery, performing preventative maintenance as needed.
• Implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• City & Guilds or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 5 years of experience in lathe operation and tool setting

Technical Skills

• CNC Programming
• Precision Measurement

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CNC Machinist Certification
• IOSH Managing Safely

Languages

• English: Fluent
