We are seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our Glasgow office. The right candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, helping to safeguard our digital infrastructure against potential threats.

Responsibilities

• Develop security architectures that protect our systems.
• Utilize tools to detect and prevent intrusions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of security policies.
• Investigate and remediate security issues as they arise.
• Support the implementation of cybersecurity measures across departments.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with data protection regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in information security

Technical Skills

• Firewalls

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of GDPR: Understanding of General Data Protection Regulation compliance and practices.
