Job Description

As a Youth Worker, you'll work closely with young people in Liverpool, empowering them through guidance, support, and development programs. Your role will involve engaging with youth, providing mentorship, and addressing their needs while collaborating with families and local services to foster a supportive community.

Responsibilities

  • Create and lead recreational and development activities.
  • Maintain open communication with families and guardians.
  • Evaluate the social and emotional needs of youth.
  • Document and report on progress and activities.
  • Promote a culture of respect and inclusion.
  • Attend training sessions and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • Additional training in youth mental health is beneficial
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in community work or related fields
