Job Description

We seek a passionate and knowledgeable Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging lectures and foster a love for chemistry among postsecondary students. You will design effective lesson plans, facilitate stimulating classroom discussions, and assess student progress.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear and inclusive lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Utilize interactive learning methods, including labs and demonstrations, to reinforce theoretical knowledge.
  • Monitor and support student progress, offering extra assistance when required.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school events and committees to support the broader educational community.
  • Establish communication with parents regarding student achievements and concerns.
  • Use assessment data to inform teaching practices and improve student outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Chemistry or related education field is advantageous
  • Further qualifications in educational methods is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years teaching experience preferred.
