We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our dynamic team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will possess a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance frameworks. You will be responsible for assessing our clients' security postures and implementing strategies to enhance their cybersecurity measures, ensuring the protection of critical assets and data.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of existing security measures.
• Implement security monitoring solutions to detect threats.
• Advise on the implementation of encryption technologies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements.
• Assist in responding to security audits and assessments.
• Conduct security training and awareness programs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security initiatives.
• Perform incident investigations and report findings.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans.
• Engage with external partners to secure data exchanges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree in Cybersecurity is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on consulting.
