We are seeking a skilled Marine Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and testing marine vessels, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. A strong focus on innovation and performance will be essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in the design of propulsion systems and other mechanical components.
• Evaluate design processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee trial runs of new vessels and systems.
• Assist in regulatory compliance assessments and audits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress against budgets and schedules.
• Engage in continuous professional development and learning opportunities.
• Lead root cause investigations for any technical failures or safety incidents.
• Stay informed on latest maritime regulations impacting engineering practices.
• Prepare comprehensive project reviews and technical reports.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous but not required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in marine systems design and maintenance.

Technical Skills

• PLM Software
• ANSYS

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status

Languages

• English: Fluent
