Dyno Technician (Dynamometer Technician)

Job Description

As a Dyno Technician, you will be responsible for testing and evaluating engine performance using sophisticated dynamometer equipment. You will work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the improvement of engine performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine tests to evaluate performance using dynamometer systems.
• Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting engine dynos and associated equipment.
• Document and report findings from engine tests to the engineering team.
• Collaborate with team members to improve engine testing procedures.
• Ensure that all testing processes adhere to safety standards and regulations.
• Contribute to training junior staff on dynamometer operations and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of testing activities and results.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional certifications in Automotive Technology or a similar field

Experience

• Experience with dynamometer equipment and software essential.

• English: Fluent
