Job Description

As a Biomedical Photographer, you'll capture high-quality images and videos of medical subjects for research, documentation, and educational purposes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to meet visual requirements and help advance medical knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality photographic content that aligns with research objectives.
  • Conduct comprehensive critiques of existing photographic techniques and suggest improvements.
  • Train new team members in the best practices for capturing and editing medical images.
  • Participate in conferences to showcase works and network with other professionals in the field.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from team members on photographic outputs to continually improve quality.
  • Create a system for archiving and cataloguing photographic images and data.
  • Conduct regular assessments of photography equipment to ensure functionality.
  • Lead projects relating to the implementation of new imaging technologies.
  • Document procedures and results to ensure compliance with institutional review boards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Photography or a related field
  • Advanced qualifications in photography preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in biomedical imaging or a related field.
