Job Description

As a Conservation Scientist, you'll play a vital role in undertaking field assessments, developing restoration plans, and implementing project strategies for aquatic habitat restoration. Your work will contribute to the enhancement of biodiversity and the preservation of natural resources.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate aquatic ecosystems' health through field surveys and data analysis.
  • Design and oversee the implementation of habitat restoration strategies.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring to track the progress of restoration efforts.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure proper reporting.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of ecologists, hydrologists, and technicians.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff and volunteers involved in projects.
  • Research and implement best practices in aquatic habitat restoration and management.
