Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our team in Belfast. The ideal candidate will have experience in project management and a strong background in civil and structural engineering. You will be involved in various projects across the region, contributing to the design, planning, and execution of innovative infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in the execution of civil engineering designs and reviews.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
• Develop cost estimates and budget proposals for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with architects, planners, and environmental scientists.
• Ensure that all engineering activities are compliant with safety standards.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and compliance documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices and standards.
• Communicate with clients and project stakeholders to provide updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering or related fields

• Site Management
• Geotechnical Engineering

• Leadership

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
• Civil Engineering Technician (EngTech) status is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent
