Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Animal Behaviourist to join our growing team in Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive behavioural assessments and develop tailored training plans for a variety of animals, ensuring their well-being and better integration into their environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assess animal behaviour through observation and interaction.
  • Formulate behaviour modification plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Train and support pet owners to understand their animals’ needs and behaviour.
  • Provide follow-up assessments to track improvements and setbacks.
  • Engage in teamwork with veterinary staff and animal care professionals.
  • Utilise behaviour modification tools and techniques effectively.
  • Conduct community outreach and educational sessions.
  • Maintain detailed records of client consultations and animal behaviour.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Animal Behaviour, Psychology, or a related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in animal behaviour or related fields
