Job Description

The Public Health Officer will play a crucial role in assessing community health needs, implementing health initiatives, and promoting health education among the public. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to enhance public health standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead health education sessions and workshops for community groups and stakeholders.
  • Assess the effectiveness of public health programs and provide feedback for improvements.
  • Establish partnerships with local health organisations to promote health initiatives.
  • Respond to public health emergencies and outbreaks with strategic action plans.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for community boards and public health stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or a related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in public health
Technical Skills
  • Statistical Software (SPSS, R, etc.)
  • Health Education Programme Design
Soft Skills
  • Teamwork

Languages
  • English: Fluent
