As a Structural Iron and Steel Worker, you will play a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of steel structures. Responsibilities

• Lift and position heavy steel components using cranes and rigging devices.
• Conduct regular inspections of rigging equipment to maintain optimal safety.
• Coordinate with site managers to plan work schedules efficiently.
• Ensure that all safety standards are practiced on-site.
• Provide training and assistance to junior riggers as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in rigging or crane operation is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Rigging and Lifting Techniques
• Blueprint Interpretation
• Crane Operations

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication

Certifications

• CPCS Card (Construction Plant Competence Scheme)
• Safety Certification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH)
