Job Description

As an Anvilsmith at MetalWorks Ltd., you will be responsible for forging, shaping, and finishing metal pieces to create functional and durable anvils. Your expertise in metalworking will ensure high-quality production that meets industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
• Perform welding and soldering to join metal pieces together.
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to inform fabrication.
• Collaborate with the design team to bring client concepts to life.
• Assist with the training of new metalworking apprentices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Apprenticeship or vocational training in metalworking or blacksmithing is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in metalworking

Technical Skills

• Welding techniques
• Blueprint interpretation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving abilities
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working on industrial projects: Familiarity with large-scale metal fabrication tasks.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations: Able to implement and adhere to safety standards in a workshop setting.
