Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Blackpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing health policies, conducting assessments, and promoting health education within the community. This role requires a passion for public health and a commitment to improving community wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Establish partnerships with local organisations to promote health awareness.
  • Develop strategies for disease prevention and health promotion.
  • Conduct research on community health issues and trends.
  • Engage with stakeholders to enhance public health initiatives.
  • Review compliance with public health policies and procedures.
  • Deliver presentations on public health topics to community groups.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related field is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in public health roles
