Job Description

As a Yeast Maker, you will oversee the production of high-quality yeast, applying your knowledge of microbiology and fermentation processes to ensure peak efficiency and consistent output. This role is crucial to our mission of providing reliable products for the food and beverage sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and maintain yeast cultures using aseptic techniques.
  • Control fermentation processes to optimize yeast quality.
  • Monitor conditions and adjust processes as necessary.
  • Collect and analyse samples for quality assurance.
  • Engage in continuous improvement strategies within the production.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and SOPs.
  • Assist in developing new yeast strains with the R&D team.
  • Support the training of new employees.
  • Provide technical support during production challenges.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related science field
Experience
  • Hands-on experience with fermentation processes

Advantageous

  • Master's degree in relevant field: Advanced study in microbiology or biochemistry is a plus.
