Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rackman to join our team. The Rackman will be responsible for various tasks related to managing and organizing racks within our facility. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the installation and setup of server racks according to specifications.
• Conduct performance checks and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Redesign cable management systems to enhance efficiency.
• Oversee safety protocols for equipment handling.
• Regularly audit rack contents and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with technical teams for project implementation.
• Ensure all operations adhere to best practices within the data centre.
• Stay updated with the latest technologies relevant to rack management.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical or engineering degree
• Additional certification in rack management is advantageous

Experience

• At least 2 years of direct experience in a data centre environment.
