Job Description

Join our team as a Childcare Worker in Cardiff, where you will help create a safe and stimulating environment for children. Your responsibilities will include supervising play and recreational activities, supporting developmental milestones, and communicating effectively with parents regarding their child's progress.

Responsibilities

  • Care for children’s physical, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Assist with daily routines such as feeding, dressing, and sleeping.
  • Create a welcoming and engaging environment that encourages exploration.
  • Monitor and assess children's progress, communicating changes to parents.
  • Facilitate the implementation of a curriculum that supports children's development.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the childcare facility.
  • Encourage children to develop independence while being close at hand for support.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation as required.
  • Promote inclusivity and understanding among the children.

Requirements

Education
  • Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare
  • Experience in childcare settings preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a childcare environment required
