Job Description
As a Fleet Operations Supervisor, you will manage and oversee all aspects of fleet operations in our Stevenage location. You will ensure the efficiency and safety of our fleet while leading a dedicated team focused on delivering top-notch service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Direct fleet operations to achieve optimal efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.
  • Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and improve job performance.
  • Implement fleet management software and tools to streamline operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
  • Manage fuel and maintenance supplies to control costs.
  • Liaise with external vendors and service providers for fleet maintenance and repairs.
  • Prepare reports on fleet operations and present findings to upper management.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes impacting fleet operations.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Relevant certifications in fleet management are a plus
  • Fleet Management Software Proficient in using fleet management tools and software for tracking and reporting.
  • Budget Management Skilled in managing budgets and controlling operational costs.
  • Leadership Proven ability to lead and inspire teams towards common goals.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective team and stakeholder engagement.
  • Fleet Management Certification
  • Project Management Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Understanding of automotive maintenance: Knowledge of vehicle maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with supply chain principles: Experience in aligning fleet operations with broader supply chain strategies.
