Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join our team in Belfast. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing transportation strategies that enhance efficiency and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transport planning and excellent analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and revise transportation policies to enhance service delivery.
• Work closely with government bodies on transport initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance on transport-related projects.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster collaboration.
• Prepare funding applications and manage grant submissions.
• Participate in multi-disciplinary projects involving transport, planning, and engineering.
• Support the implementation of smart transport solutions.
• Track project progress and report on deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Transport Planning or Civil Engineering
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in transport planning or related projects
