Job Description

As a Tearoom Hostess, you will be the face of our establishment, greeting and seating guests with a smile. Your role involves taking orders, serving delectable food and drinks, and ensuring our tearoom remains spotless and welcoming for all customers.

Responsibilities

• Welcome each customer and ensure they have a pleasant experience.
• Seat patrons and provide them with menus, offering recommendations as needed.
• Prepare teas and pastries in accordance with standard recipes.
• Process payments and manage the till accurately.
• Ensure the tearoom is tidy and inviting, lifting the spirits of every guest.
• Assist with catering for private events and parties.
• Gather feedback from customers to enhance service quality.

Requirements

Education

• Food handlers’ certification preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role is preferred.
