Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Olive Picker to join our agricultural team. The Olive Picker will be responsible for harvesting olives efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform hand-harvesting of olives, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Sort and clean harvested olives to maintain quality.
• Participate in farm maintenance and support team activities.
• Comply with health and safety regulations proactively.
• Document and report any concerns regarding crops and equipment.
• Support and mentor new team members as they acclimate to the role.
• Engage actively in team meetings to improve processes.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order.

Requirements

Education

• Basic knowledge of agricultural practices.

Experience

• Experience using harvesting tools and equipment is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Health and safety knowledge
• Machine operation

Advantageous

• Ability to operate farming machinery: Experience operating tractors or similar vehicles is beneficial.
