Job Description

We are on the lookout for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Newcastle. You'll play an essential role in assisting pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing excellent patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will help ensure the safe, effective, and timely delivery of pharmaceutical services.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the compounding of medications as directed by the pharmacist.
• Ensure all prescriptions are filled accurately and efficiently.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy environment.
• Participate in health promotion activities and community outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified Pharmacy Technician
• Experience with specific pharmacy software is advantageous

Experience

• Experience in a retail pharmacy environment is highly desirable
