Job Description

Join us as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist in York, where you will play a vital role in shaping our employee benefits strategy. You will manage compensation structures and ensure our HR policies align with industry standards and legal requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular reviews of compensation and benefits policies to ensure compliance with the law.
  • Facilitate training sessions for employees regarding benefits eligibility and claims processes.
  • Gather and analyze market data to adapt compensation structures appropriately.
  • Assist in the development of HR policies related to compensation and benefits.
  • Build relationships with external vendors for benefit solutions.
  • Support with the onboarding process by explaining benefits to new hires.
  • Track legislative changes affecting compensation and benefits and propose necessary adjustments.
  • Convene regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss compensation and benefits strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Master's degree in HR Management is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in compensation and benefits
