We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Derby. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work, with a passion for community welfare and support. Job Responsibilities
  • Assess and analyse client situations to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Create and manage plans for individuals and families in need.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to services.
  • Liaise with external agencies to develop support networks.
  • Document case notes and progress reports in compliance with policies.
  • Work with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients during challenging times.
  • Lead workshops and community meetings to raise awareness.
  • Offer educational resources to clients on relevant topics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work
  • Master’s degree in Social Work is preferred
  • Client Assessment Proficient in evaluating client needs and developing care plans.
  • Crisis Intervention Skilled in providing immediate support to clients in crisis.
  • Empathy Deeply empathetic approach to client interactions.
  • Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW)
  • First Aid Certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Familiarity with local social services: Knowledge of local resources and programs available for clients.
  • Cultural Competence Training: Training in understanding and respecting diverse cultural backgrounds.
