Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Social Worker in Derby to help enhance the welfare of our community. In this role, you will manage caseloads, conduct assessments, and implement tailored support plans. Your work will directly influence the lives of those in need, requiring empathy, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to advocacy.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and analyse client situations to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Create and manage plans for individuals and families in need.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and access to services.
  • Liaise with external agencies to develop support networks.
  • Document case notes and progress reports in compliance with policies.
  • Work with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients during challenging times.
  • Lead workshops and community meetings to raise awareness.
  • Offer educational resources to clients on relevant topics.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make adjustments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Psychology
  • Master’s in Social Work is an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in social service roles
