Job Description

We are seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our team in Derby. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead civil engineering projects and manage teams of engineers and technicians.
  • Review and analyze engineering drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Implement sustainable design practices and promote environmental responsibility.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Prepare project proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Explore opportunities for innovation within engineering practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Master's degree in Civil Engineering is advantageous
Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects
