In this role, you will prepare and process tissue samples, ensuring high-quality results for our pathologists. Your meticulous attention to detail and technical expertise will contribute significantly to patient diagnoses.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tissue samples for microscopic examination through precise techniques.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments as required.
• Conduct regular quality control assessments to uphold testing standards.
• Ensure compliance with recordkeeping and documentation practices.
• Provide a tidy and safe laboratory environment through adherence to safety protocols.
• Foster collaboration with pathologists and laboratory staff for effective workflow.
• Participate actively in ongoing education and training programs.
• Help refine and standardize laboratory procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and manage laboratory supplies to ensure availability.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Biomedical Science or related field
• Certification as a Histotechnician is recommended

Experience

• Experience working in a histology lab is highly advantageous.
