Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer based in Manchester to ensure the highest standards of quality in our software products. You will be responsible for designing and executing tests, identifying defects, and improving testing processes within our agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement test automation frameworks.
• Review project specifications and requirements to identify testing needs.
• Track and manage quality metrics and KPIs.
• Actively participate in agile development ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Coordinate with other QA teams on testing strategies and tool selection.
• Participate in user acceptance testing with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, focusing on automated testing

Technical Skills

• JavaScript
• Continuous Integration Tools

• Analytical Skills
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in Mobile and Web Testing: Familiarity with testing mobile applications as well as web applications.
• Knowledge of API Testing: Experience with tools like Postman or SoapUI for API testing.
