Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Agricultural Technician to support our team in Weston-super-Mare. The successful candidate will play a vital role in implementing innovative agricultural practices and ensuring optimal crop management.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate agricultural practices and recommend improvements.
• Assist in the setup and management of irrigation systems.
• Participate in community outreach programs to educate on sustainable farming.
• Research new technologies that can be adopted for crop enhancement.
• Conduct workshops for farmers on innovative practices.
• Document and track the effectiveness of implemented strategies.
• Provide feedback to management on farmer needs and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Horticulture, or related field
• Relevant certifications in agriculture are beneficial

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in agriculture
