Container Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a highly-skilled Container Inspector to assess various containers for compliance with safety and quality standards. The successful candidate will undertake detailed inspections, identifying defects and ensuring adherence to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed inspections of shipping containers for quality and compliance.
• Document defects and ensure all inspection findings are reported accurately.
• Assist in developing and implementing effective inspection procedures.
• Work alongside team members to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Stay abreast of new container inspection technologies and regulations.
• Provide feedback on improving inspection processes.
• Participate in safety training and uphold compliance with safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Relevant certification in container inspection (preferred)

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in container inspection or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the shipping or manufacturing industry: Familiarity with industry processes and inspection standards.
