Job Description

Looking for a Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll operations in our York office. This position will focus on compliance, data entry, and financial reporting, ensuring precision and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate payroll processing activities and streamline workflows.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with UK tax laws and regulations.
  • Provide training and support to staff on payroll systems and procedures.
  • Generate and analyze payroll reports for management review.
  • Perform audits to ensure the accuracy of payroll data.
  • Assist with the implementation of new payroll software solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • AAT qualification in accounting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field would be an advantage
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll and HR compliance
