Job Description

As a Library Program Assistant, you will play a key role in promoting library services and programs. Ideal candidates will have a passion for education, strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Implement library programs to enhance community engagement.
  • Provide support in the development of educational materials.
  • Facilitate training sessions for volunteers and new staff.
  • Implement effective communication strategies to promote library resources.
  • Assist in cataloging and maintaining library collections.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the library.
  • Conduct surveys to gather feedback from users to improve services.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share ideas and insights.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Library Science is desirable
Experience
