Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to lead our projects in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing construction sites, ensuring quality work, adhering to safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Directly oversee all construction operations on-site to ensure that work is conducted safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate project schedules and track project performance metrics.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Manage site logistics to facilitate smooth operation and minimize disruption.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Review and approve all work orders and change orders.
  • Report financial status and progress to senior management.
  • Foster strong relationships with local authorities, inspectors, and community stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience leading construction projects
