Business Analyst

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Cardiff. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, providing insights to improve processes, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure that IT solutions meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Prepare project documentation, including risk assessments.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions.
• Provide insights on market trends to inform strategic direction.
• Support change management initiatives.
• Ensure alignment between business goals and IT solutions.
• Document processes and workflows for future reference.
• Assist in the implementation of new software systems.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Economics
• Relevant postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years in a similar role, preferably in IT

• SQL
• Excel

Certifications

• Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with SaaS products: Understanding of software as a service products could be beneficial.
• Experience with stakeholder management: Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders effectively.
